After months of silence and uncertainty, MNL48 fans finally have something to shout about – the girls are back, and they're making sure everyone knows it.
Their comeback concert, aptly named ‘Reboot and Rise’, kicked off today, breathing fresh energy into the beloved group.
In even bigger news, Jamie Alberto has officially been announced as MNL48’s new General Captain!
A familiar face to MNLoves, Jamie couldn't hide her excitement.

"It’s honestly a dream come true," she said, beaming.
"We’re really bringing MNL48 back to life – and not just with old favourites, but with a new batch of members too. Even though a lot of our senpais have graduated, we’re keeping that same heart and flavour that made everyone fall in love with MNL48 in the first place."
Jamie also teased a few surprises for the fan meet:
"It’s been a while since we’ve stood on stage like this. We’re thrilled to reboot... and hopefully – no, surely – rise again!" she added, mixing English and Filipino, giving fans all the feels.
And the excitement didn’t stop there – QUADLIPS joined the concert as a special guest, even teaming up with MNL48 to perform the iconic ‘Koi Suru Fortune Cookie’, making the night even more unforgettable.

From ranking 6th in her first General Election to leading performances in big stages like ASAP and PPop Con, not to mention starring in MNL48 Presents: Chain, and hosting her own Spotify podcast ‘Jamie’s Cat Nap’ – she’s truly done it all.
Her journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and now as General Captain, she's ready to steer MNL48 into its exciting new chapter.
