Bittersweet Farewell for Mizuki Rui and Ayana Karen from Kawaii Norou!

J-Pop idol group Kawaii tte Iwanaito Norou! has announced the upcoming graduation of two of their original and beloved members.

Mizuki Rui and Ayana Karen, who’ve both been with the group since the early days, will be leaving this June.

The news came via the group’s official social media accounts and was met with emotional reactions from fans.

Mizuki Rui is set to graduate first, with her final performance scheduled for 14 June 2025.

Her last stage will be held at Studio Freedom in Shibuya, a familiar venue for many fans.

Rui has had a tough journey, including time away due to injury, but she's never stopped caring about her fans.

In her statement, she said she wants to give her all one last time before stepping away to recover and reflect.

Her positive attitude and smile have always stood out, and fans are already calling her graduation a major loss.

Ayana Karen, known for her bright red theme and passionate stage presence, will graduate two weeks later.

Karen’s final live will be held at Spotify O-Crest on 29 June 2025.

She expressed nothing but gratitude, saying that her time in Kawaii Norou! was a dream come true.

Karen also hinted that while she’s graduating, she doesn’t intend to disappear from the entertainment world entirely.

Both graduations mark the end of a chapter for the group and for fans who’ve supported them from the beginning.

Rui and Karen were not just members – they were part of the heart and soul of the group.

Their energy, friendship, and commitment shaped many of Kawaii Norou!’s most memorable moments.

Producer Maybe Moe praised both girls, calling them vital to the group's early success and ongoing growth.

She encouraged fans to continue supporting them, both during their final performances and beyond.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their love, memories, and gratitude for Rui and Karen.

The group will continue, but these graduations will no doubt leave an emotional mark.

It’s clear that Rui and Karen’s influence will live on in the songs, performances, and spirit of the group.

Their departure also reminds fans how fast things can change in the idol world.

As for the group, they’re expected to carry on with fresh energy and possibly new additions.

Full details of the graduation events, including tickets and timing, are expected to be shared soon.

Fans who can attend are encouraged to show their support in person or online if they can’t make it.

It’s an emotional time, but also one filled with reflection, growth, and looking forward to what’s next.

<Message from Mizuki Rui>
To everyone who’s always supported me,
I, Mizuki Rui, have decided to graduate from the group on June 14.

Throughout my time in the group, I’ve had many encounters and experiences that have truly added so many precious things to my life.

Among them, the presence of everyone who warmly supported me no matter what was my biggest emotional support.

Even during the hard times — injury, hospitalisation, surgery, rehabilitation — I was only able to push through because of all of you. I was saved so many times by your kindness.

I struggled a lot before coming to this decision, but it’s a choice I made after thinking carefully about my future.
This is a step forward for me.
My love for idol activities hasn’t changed one bit.

After graduation, I’ll do my best to become stronger and more like myself, so I can see you all again someday.
No matter what, my fans were always the first thing on my mind. That’s how much you mean to me. That won’t ever change.

Thank you for finding me!
Until the very last day, I’ll stand on stage with a smile and a heart full of gratitude.
I’d be so happy if you’d spend the rest of this journey with me too.

<Message from Ayana Karen>

To everyone I love who always supports me,
I, Ayana Karen, will graduate from "Kawaii tte Iwanaito Norou!" after my graduation performance on June 29, 2025.
I’m sorry to surprise you with this sudden announcement.

I honestly didn’t think I’d be making this kind of announcement to you all so soon.
It’s really hard to let go.

When I met Kawanoro, I decided I’d do everything I wanted here, no matter what.
It might seem like a short time if you look at it by the calendar.
But each and every day was so full, and because I lived as a member of Kawanoro — as Ayana Karen — I was able to meet such precious teammates and everyone I love so much.

You’ve given me so much love, and I’ll carry that tightly in my heart as I move on to a new stage.
The form may change, but I will continue to stand on stage.

This might sound selfish, but I hope you’ll keep watching over me — whether from near or far — even from now on.

There’s so much more I want to say: my feelings, my thoughts, my plans for the future.
It would get too long if I put it all here, so I hope I can share more with you soon on my personal account.

Please continue to support "Kawaii tte Iwanaito Norou!" and Ayana Karen.
