Lulu Hsia’s love life has sparked chatter once again, after rumours surfaced suggesting she went on back-to-back dates with two different men within four days.
But before we start jumping to conclusions, Gino — her former rumoured boyfriend — is stepping up to set the record straight.
According to Gino, the drama on the 11th was nothing more than a casual meetup.
Lulu had dinner plans with actress and friend Zhang Jia-Wei, and Gino just popped by briefly to grab something from them.

“I stayed for a quick chat, maybe 10 minutes, tops. Then I left. That’s it,” he explained.
He’s not just talking either.
Gino’s even open to pulling CCTV footage from the restaurant to back up his side.
“Anyone who wants to verify, go ask the shop,” he said confidently. He’s not here to play the villain in a soap opera, clearly.

He also touched on the realities of being a public figure. “I get that people like us are judged all the time. I’ve got no problem with that. But at least let us speak our piece. No one deserves to be cut up by selective headlines,” Gino said, dropping a bit of wisdom in the midst of the noise.
As for the other part of the rumour mill — the one tying Lulu to singer Sam Lee (Li Shengjie) — her camp has also given some clarity.
Through her manager, Lulu Hsia stated that it was a group dinner with friends, and any seemingly intimate behaviour was just misinterpreted.

“We’re sorry for the confusion, but honestly, it wasn’t what it looked like. She’s still very much single,” said the manager.
And that supposed rekindled romance with Gino?
Lulu’s team squashed that too.
They did admit the two are part of the same badminton group and sometimes play together, but that’s where it ends. “Nothing going on privately,” said the manager.
So, what’s the real story?
Well, according to everyone involved — not much. Just dinner with mates, a drop-by from a friend, and people getting a bit carried away with the gossip.
