Mew Suppasit: Actor, Pop Star, Brainiac – Is There Anything He Can’t Do? |
If you’ve been glued to HOMEROOM 29, you’ll already know Mew Suppasit’s face – intense, brooding, expressive – the kind that pulls you in and refuses to let go. But turns out, that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Because this lad?
He’s not just serving lead role realness. He’s a full-blown multi-hyphenate: actor, singer, academic, entrepreneur… all wrapped in one very charismatic package.
Let’s rewind a bit.
Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat (yep, try saying that five times fast) was born on 21 Feb 1991 in Thailand. And while he’s become a staple on our screens, he’s also racked up academic achievements that most of us wouldn’t dare dream of.
He graduated top of his class in Industrial Engineering from Kasetsart University – First Class Honours and a gold medal, no less – and went on to do both his Master’s and PhD at Chulalongkorn University in the same field. Proper genius.
Now, on to the glitz and glamour.
Mew kicked off his acting journey in the drama Banthuek Kam (Channel 3), but it was TharnType: The Series that sent his name skyrocketing across Asia and beyond.
Playing “Tharn,” he quickly became a poster boy for Thai BL series and carved out a dedicated international fanbase known as “Mewlions.”
In 2025, he’s showing no signs of slowing down. His work calendar is stacked:
-
HOMEROOM 29: A gritty, gripping thriller where Mew leads as part of a tense hostage classroom remake of the Japanese original.
-
My Wife’s Gunslinger God: Romantic comedy gold with Aom Sushar – quirky, chaotic, and unexpectedly heartwarming.
-
Rak Salap Lai: A dramatic TV series alongside Thai drama queen Pooklook Fonthip.
-
Replace Me: A feature film with Ananda Everingham, directed by Kongkiat Khomsiri – one for the cinephiles.
But it’s not just screen time where he shines.

HOMEROOM 29 Star Mew Suppasit Isn’t Just Acting – He’s Owning It |
Mew's music career is equally impressive. He made his solo debut with “Season of You” back in 2020, which shot up the charts and put Thai pop in the global spotlight.
Since then, he’s released a steady stream of bops including “Good Day,” “Nan Na,” “THRILL,” and “Let Me Be” – blending slick pop vibes with smooth R&B and dance.
Then came SPACEMAN (2022), his first full album. It wasn’t just a music drop – it was a concept, a universe.
With tracks he helped write and co-produce, it felt personal and polished – and totally international-ready.
And because that’s still not enough for Mew, he’s also dipping into the business world.
He co-founded ONE SKINLABS, a skincare brand, and is gearing up to launch a lifestyle café called We Are Young with fiancé and fellow actor Tul Pakorn.
The café will open at The Glass Market in Bangna and, knowing them, it’ll be an Instagrammer’s dream.
Oh, and did we mention his annual fan event? Mewtropolis is where Mewlions unite for music, games, and lots of feels. It’s not just a fan meet – it’s a whole blooming festival.
Currently making waves in the Thai entertainment scene, Mew Suppasit has taken on the lead role in the gripping new thriller series HOMEROOM 29: Hostage.
The show is an adaptation of the popular Japanese drama Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom. Mew plays "Teacher Win" (Khru Win), a homeroom teacher who takes all 29 of his students hostage in a desperate attempt to uncover the truth behind the death of one of his pupils.
Mew revealed that this role has been the most challenging of his acting career so far, due to the complexity of the character and the intense ensemble cast dynamic.
He received full support from the production team and acting coaches to deliver a powerful and convincing performance.
HOMEROOM 29: Hostage consists of 16 episodes and began airing on 28 March 2025 on the TrueID platform.
The series features a talented lineup of young actors, including Jennis Oprasert, Jane Kuljirarat Wararak, and Music Praewa Suthampong, among others.
So yeah – Mew Suppasit isn’t just busy.
He’s building an empire. Whether it’s acting, singing, science, or skincare, he’s doing it all with style. And somehow, still managing to stay charmingly humble.
Watch out world – he’s not done yet.
