FES☆TIVE just dropped a surprise spring gift for fans – three brand-new members have joined the lineup, and they’re not exactly rookies.
Joining the festive fold are Nanami Hoshino (ex-Cent Heaven), Airi Koshiba (ex-ЯiＭ:ＭiＲ), and newcomer Ai Nanase. The announcement went live on 29 April 2025, and their official X/Twitter accounts are already active. So, let’s break it down.
First up, Hoshino Nanami – stage name Nanamin – is no stranger to the idol world. She cut her teeth in Cent Heaven, where she was active from October 2021 until her graduation in September 2024.
Originally from Wakayama, Nanami Hoshino is 23 and brings a calm, white-coloured member vibe to the team (yes, member colours still matter to some of us). She’s known for her steady presence and smooth transition into high-pressure performance scenes.
Reflecting on her new chapter, Nanami said she’s genuinely thrilled to be joining FES☆TIVE, calling it a “big name in the industry” – and she’s not wrong. With FES☆TIVE known for energetic stages and festival-ready anthems, this could be a fun new fit for her.
Next, we've got Airi Koshiba, who some fans might recognise from her time in ЯiＭ:ＭiＲ. Going by the nickname Airiinu (or Riinu, if you’re feeling cute), she’s a Leo born in August 2003, and she brings a unique flavour to the group.
She's into rhythm games and adores theme park shows (now that’s a hobby we can get behind), though she won’t be touching capsicum anytime soon.
Her catchphrase? “Won’t you support a pink long-time angel~!! (> <)” – sounds like she’s ready to carve out her pink corner in FES☆TIVE’s rainbow.
As for Ai Nanase, the newest face among the three, not much has been revealed yet. But her presence rounds out the addition with a bit of mystery – and that always keeps things spicy in the idol scene.
The announcement has already kicked off chatter in fan circles, with many wondering how these new dynamics will play into FES☆TIVE’s already jam-packed choreography and signature upbeat performances.
Will we see a reshuffling of songs? New unit stages? Or a major summer debut for the trio?
Whatever’s coming, it’s clear the group’s entering a fresh phase – and judging by the positive energy coming from the new members' intros, they’re ready to dive straight in.
