BEYOOOOONDS Hold First Overseas Solo Concert in Taipei
BEYOOOOONDS Bring the Energy to Taiwan for First Solo Concert Abroad (Natalie)

J-pop's wonderfully wacky and heartwarming idol group BEYOOOOONDS took their energy overseas for the very first time – and Taipei absolutely felt the love.

The 12-member group brought their signature mix of chaos and charm to the HANASPACE venue in the heart of Taiwan’s capital for their first-ever solo concert abroad: “BEYOOOOONDS FIRST CONCERT 2025『BEYOOOOONDS GOOOOOES TO TAIPEI!』”

And let’s just say – it was everything and then some.

Dressed in fresh stage outfits themed around their individual member colours (because what’s a BEYOOOOONDS show without a splash of rainbow?), the group kicked things off with high-energy performances of "Disco Carnival" and "Motomeyo... Unmei no Tabibitozan"

The crowd? Loud, loving, and laser-focused.

The members? Beaming.

During the MC bits, they all introduced themselves in Mandarin – which had the local fans totally swooning – and gushed about how thrilled they were to finally perform in Taipei.

A particularly sweet moment came when Saya Eguchi dropped an original haiku during “Go City Go”, cheekily referencing the busy spring scene at Taipei Main Station with:
“Kyariibaggu / Garagoro yuku haru / Taipei eki”
yes, poetry from an idol group, and it slapped.

BEYOOOOONDS Thank Taiwanese Fans with Emotional First Overseas Concert

But one of the real goosebump moments was during “Nippon no D.N.A!”, when Kokoro Maeda yelled, “There’s something I want to tell you all!” and the entire group responded with a heartfelt “我愛你!” (“I love you!”) – a surprise that had the audience roaring with joy.

After nearly 100 minutes of non-stop singing, dancing and heartfelt chatter, the group wrapped things up and left the stage... only for fans to turn the tables with a surprise of their own.

A sea of voices filled the venue in a spontaneous singalong of “Yume sae egakenai yozora ni wa”

Then came the real tearjerker: fans holding up message cards reading “THANK YOOOOOU FOR COMING TO TAIWAN” – and yep, some of the girls got visibly teary.

Rika Shimakura, who’s gearing up for graduation, said through teary smiles,

“I’m so glad I got to do an overseas concert before graduating. Meeting fans beyond Japan meant so much. I’d always wanted to visit Taipei, and I had the best time – the concert, the sightseeing, the food… everything! Thank you for two days full of kindness.”

Miha Hirai also shared her love for the fans, giving a special shout-out to those who attended the café event the day before at Sheep & Flower Light Spot,

“Hearing people say ‘see you tomorrow!’ really gave me energy for the live. And the encore surprise? It honestly made me cry. I felt so much love. I hope we can keep growing, and bring even more happiness to everyone – not just in Japan, but overseas too. 我愛你! See you next time!”

If this Taipei debut was anything to go by, BEYOOOOONDS are more than ready to stretch their wings further across Asia – and the world. So, world… are you ready to go “GOOOOOO” with them?
