Just when we thought we were saying goodbye, Gyakuten Neko Punch! has pulled a total plot twist—Shinsekai☆Moyu isn’t graduating after all!
Originally set to leave on 19 March 2025, Moyu-chan had a sudden change of heart after a deep discussion with the group.
The official statement confirms that she will continue her idol activities, fuelled by a strong desire to protect the group.
Her previously planned graduation concert?
That’s now just a regular birthday celebration instead!
Talk about a 180-degree turn.
Moyu-chan herself has apologised to fans, acknowledging that her back-and-forth decision might have felt like a rollercoaster.

But she made it clear—her love for Gyakuten Neko Punch! is real, and she wants to fight for the group’s future.
“I deeply regret the confusion, but I want to do my best for the group I love,” she shared in her heartfelt message.
Moyu's statement:
"I, Shinsekai☆Moyu, have decided to cancel my graduation and will continue my activities as a member of Gyakuten Neko Punch!.
I sincerely apologise for causing confusion and distress to those who support me. I realise that my decision may have caused inconvenience, especially to those who spent their time and effort on me because I was supposed to graduate. I deeply regret my actions and truly apologise for any disappointment.
After what happened yesterday, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I could do. Even though I’m just a small part of this world, if there’s anything I can do for the group, I want to give it my all. My desire to protect Gyakuten Neko Punch! is genuine, and I won’t lie about that.
I also realised that I love this group and want to keep working hard here.
Now that I have been given the chance to continue, I will take my responsibilities more seriously and face everything with full commitment. I would be very happy if you continue to support me.
Once again, I sincerely apologise for all the trouble I’ve caused.
