Lin Yi is officially on the mend after a rough bout of acute gastroenteritis and a high fever that kept him away from a recent awards ceremony.
Fans were worried, but the Put Your Head on My Shoulder star has reassured everyone he’s feeling much better.
Taking to social media, the 26-year-old actor thanked fans for their support and shared a fun update.
"Sorry to worry you all. Thank you for your concern and words of encouragement. My body has recovered significantly, and I will be able to go skiing soon (as well as entertain you guys)!" he wrote.
From Recovery to the Slopes
Lin Yi didn’t just talk about getting better—he also took the chance to hype up his latest drama, Ski Into Love, co-starring Esther Yu Shuxin.
The actor revealed the intense effort behind the show, describing how the crew travelled to eight cities over four months to capture the perfect winter scenery.
"Ski Into Love is a ski-themed TV series never seen before in China," Lin Yi said.
"The entire crew was exhausted after filming. To give audiences a legit snowy atmosphere, we went all out. Though there might be many things we didn’t do well, please believe in our sincerity to promote winter and snow sports."
A Newfound Love for Skiing
Despite playing a pro-snowboarder in the drama, Lin Yi confessed he’s still a beginner in real life.
But that hasn’t stopped him from falling in love with the sport.
"Hitting the slopes makes me really happy," he shared. "It’s difficult and exhausting, but once you're skiing, all your worries disappear."
It looks like Lin Yi has truly embraced the snow. Who knows? Maybe next time, fans might spot him shredding down a ski resort somewhere.
