K-Netz React to Nakanishi Aruno Nogizaka46's Scandal

The internet is in flames after Knetz dug up the shocking past of Nogizaka46’s center, Nakanishi Aruno.

The revelations? Let’s just say, it’s a mix of su*ar daddies, used underrwear, and savage comments.

Aruno, who was always on the path to becoming Nogizaka46’s center, has now officially taken that spot—but not without her skeletons falling out of the closet.

According to resurfaced allegations, she was involved in Papakatsu (su9ar daddy dating), selling used underwear, and making some of the coldest comments ever.

One of the biggest shocks?

She allegedly told a person in a vegetative state to “photosynthesize”—a level of savagery no one saw coming.

She also mocked fellow Nogizaka46 members, calling them “commoners waiting for male idols.”

If that wasn’t enough, she reportedly wanted to beat up Nonoka, a little girl who went viral for a song contest.

And Knetz? They didn’t hold back.

  2. [+45, -0] – “Honestly, in Japan, idols like this don’t really get cancelled. That’s why underground idols exist.”

Back in 2022, Nakanishi Aruno, a member of the J-pop group Nogizaka46 gone viral, faced a scandal involving allegations of engaging in compensated dating, commonly referred to as having "sugaar daddies."

According to reports, netizens uncovered past social media activity where Aruno purportedly made explicit comments about other idols including about black people and shared suggestive images, including photos of her underwear.

These revelations led to significant backlash from fans and the public, raising concerns about her suitability as an idol.

3 years ago, on 3rd March 2022 she was suspended. 3 years later, 3rd March 2025, she's selected as a W-Center for Nogizaka46's new single Navel Orange.

Despite the storm online, Aruno’s career might not even take a hit.

Unlike Korea, where scandals can end an idol’s career, Japan’s idol industry has always been more... forgiving.

For now, the controversy rages on, but will this actually affect Aruno’s career?

Or will she just brush it off and continue as Nogizaka46’s center?
