It's finally happening! After two long years, Justice in the Dark (aka Mo Du) is getting a proper full broadcast in Japan, kicking off on March 7, 2025.
Fans who had their hearts broken when the drama got pulled in China can now breathe a little easier.
Back in 2023, only eight episodes aired before it vanished due to censorship.
But now, thanks to Wowow TV, viewers can finally watch Zhang Xincheng and Fu Xinbo bring the beloved Silent Reading novel to life – hopefully, without sudden interruptions this time!
Japan isn’t rushing things, though.

Instead of dropping everything at once, they’re sticking to a weekly schedule—two episodes every Friday.
That means, if you already saw the first eight episodes, you’ll need to wait until April for fresh content.
A total of 30 episodes are lined up, with the finale set for June 13, 2025.
What’s got fans buzzing?
The possibility that Japan’s version might include scenes that got cut in China.
Will we finally see those missing moments? Only time will tell.
For now, the show is airing in Mandarin with Japanese subtitles, and fans are just happy to see it make a comeback. Let’s hope this time, it gets the full run it deserves!
