Taiwanese influencer and fashion writer Jamie Tsai has lost brand partnerships after her controversial comments on Taiwan’s status sparked online outrage.

Following the backlash, Elle Taiwan swiftly announced that Jamie Tsai was no longer affiliated with them.
The skincare brand Amor Fati also distanced itself, stating they "will not work with those who do not respect Taiwan's sovereignty."
