Ishihara Satomi has officially announced her second pregnancy!
On 7 March 2025, the beloved actress shared the happy news through her agency, Horipro.
She’ll be stepping away from work for maternity leave at the end of March and is expecting to give birth in early summer.
Satomi Ishihara, now 38, expressed her gratitude and excitement, saying, "This is a miracle, and I hope to bring this new life safely into the world. I appreciate everyone's warm support and understanding."
Despite her upcoming break, she’s still planning to attend the Japan Academy Awards on 14 March.
Meanwhile, her NHK show "Ashita ga Kawaru Torisetsu Show" will air pre-recorded episodes until she’s ready to return, depending on her health and doctor's advice.
Satomi made her acting debut in 2003 and quickly became a household name.
She tied the knot with a non-celebrity businessman in October 2020 and welcomed her first child in April 2022.
Now, she’s set to expand her family once again, and fans couldn’t be happier.
