Imaizumi Yui is back!
After two and a half years away, the former Keyakizaka46 star Zuumin has announced her return to the entertainment industry as a freelance talent.
And she’s not coming back quietly—she’s kicking things off with a special radio show alongside Otenki Nori on SBS Radio on 29 March 2025 at 15:00 JST.
Speaking about her comeback, Yui Imaizumi shared her determination to move forward with no regrets.
She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work again, saying she wants to take on each job sincerely and continue growing, both as a mother and as a person.

Imaizumi Yui first made her mark in 2015 when she debuted with Keyakizaka46.
After graduating in 2018, she pursued acting and modelling, even becoming a regular for fashion magazine ar.
She was actively working as an actress until she stepped away from the spotlight in 2022.
Zuumin who left Avex Management in 2021 to work independently, announced her return as a freelance talent, marking the occasion with a special SBS Radio programme alongside Otenki Nori on 29 March 2025.
Her career has been filled with highs and lows, but her personal life has been just as eventful.
Back in January 2021, Imaizumi Yui revealed she was set to marry YouTuber Watanabe Mahoto.
By June 25th of the same year, she had given birth, but shortly after, she shocked fans by announcing she would not register her marriage and would raise the child as a single mother with her family’s support.
In a twist, on 22 March 2024, Mahoto’s former employer uploaded a YouTube video claiming that the two had secretly married and had a second child.
However, he also revealed that their marriage ended in divorce by February 2024. To make matters worse, on the very same day, Mahoto was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-wife.
After everything, Imaizumi has then decided to step back into the spotlight, determined to move forward without regrets.
With her upcoming radio show and a new career direction, fans are eager to see what this fresh start will bring for her.
