'Echoes of the Self' Kicks Off Filming – A New Rebirth Romance Drama!
Bilibili is back with another historical drama, and this one’s got all the fan-favourite tropes—rebirth, revenge, and, of course, romance.
Titled Echoes of the Self, the series just kicked off filming, starring Sebrina Chen Yao and Quan Yilun.
This one follows Fu Wei, a woman who remembers her past life after being wrongly killed.
But instead of just moving on? She’s out for revenge!
Some whispers suggest a plot twist—what if she’s actually fighting against her own past self?
Now, that would be something fresh!
Chen Yao, who nailed her eerie yet loveable role in Wu Xin: The Monster Killer, is finally back in the spotlight as the leading lady.

Meanwhile, Quan Yilun—who melted hearts as Wushan in Blossom—gets his first big lead role.
Fans are already loving the older-woman-younger-man pairing, with Chen Yao (30) being five years older than her co-star.
