Not to be mistaken for the hit K-drama, Chinese historical series The Glory (贵女) is making waves with new promos ahead of its speculated March 2025 premiere.
Starring Chen Duling and Xin Yunlai, the drama is based on The Reborn Noble Girl Is Hard to Find by Qian Shan Cha Ke.
Despite keeping its original Chinese title Gui Nü (Noblewoman), the drama sticks to its English name, The Glory.
The story follows Zhuang Han Yan, a young woman abandoned in the countryside who returns to her aristocratic roots.
As she reclaims her status, she catches the eye of Fu Yun Xi, a nobleman battling a mysterious illness.
Chen Duling, known for her versatility in supporting and villainous roles, is finally leading a fully female-centric story.
Meanwhile, Xin Yunlai, though not the biggest name, recently starred in Legend of Shen Li and In Between, making him an interesting choice for the male lead. Their chemistry could be a refreshing surprise.
Joining them in the cast are Viva Ho, Yu Entai, Wen Zhengrong, Wang Yan, and Liu Xuwei, with special appearances from Fu Jing, Huang Haibing, Li Sheng, and Liao Huijia.
