Photos of the 2PM member and actor appearing to propose to his longtime girlfriend in front of the Eiffel Tower have been making rounds online.
But 51K, his agency, has shut down the rumours, saying the photos “were not taken as part of a marriage proposal.”
Turns out, the snaps, featuring Taecyeon kneeling with a Tiffany blue box in hand and hugging his girlfriend joyfully, were just from her birthday celebration.

They were taken last year and unknowingly shared by a French studio before being deleted.
Interestingly, the photos have been online since April 2024 but only recently caught public attention.
Quick Netizens managed to grab screenshots before the original post vanished.
Taecyeon and his non-celebrity girlfriend have been public about their relationship since 2020, but this is the first time fans have caught a glimpse of her.
For now, though, it seems wedding bells aren’t ringing just yet.
