On TOKYO SPEAKEASY, Hokuto Matsumura spilled the tea on how he landed the role of Minoru, the sweet, book-smart fiancé in NHK’s Come Come Everybody (aired Nov 2021–Apr 2022).
Turns out, he wasn’t even on the official audition list!
"The staff picking candidates didn’t have me down,” he admitted.
“But someone lower in the ranks secretly slipped my name in.”
And just like that—boom!—he got the role, calling it a “turning point” in his career.
