Lee Dahye, the South Korean cheerleading queen, just dropped some real talk—she almost quit the game before Taiwan saved her career!
During a Q&A with her Taiwanese fans, the 25-year-old spilled the tea, admitting she was this close to hanging up her pom-poms.
After four years in Korea, she started questioning everything—"Is this even the right path? Should I just stop?"
But then, like a perfect plot twist, Taiwan called, and she answered!
Even though she'd studied Mandarin in uni, moving to a whole new country was big.
But looking back, she says it was hands down the best choice of her life.
"I was ready to give up, but Taiwan brought back my love for this job," she said.
Lee Dahye started cheering for KIA Tigers in 2019, but in 2023, she made history as the first South Korean cheerleader in Taiwan’s pro baseball league.
First, she rocked it with Rakuten Monkeys, then jumped to Wei Chuan Dragons in 2024.
Oh, and did we mention?
She’s also a content creator and a K-pop singer now. Talk about a glow-up!
