The entertainment world was shaken by the tragic news of actress Barbie Hsu’s passing, leaving many concerned about her husband, DJ Koo.
South Korean fashion designer Lee Sang Bong recently gave an update on his close friend's condition.
In a post dated 4 February, Lee revealed his disbelief upon hearing the heartbreaking news.
“I couldn’t believe it at first,” he wrote.
Lee immediately sent a message to DJ Koo, asking, “Stay strong~ Is this true?” but received no response.
Worried, he tried calling, but DJ Koo didn’t pick up.
It wasn’t until late at night that DJ Koo finally replied, admitting he had just learned about the news himself and was trying to stay strong.
Lee expressed deep concern for his friend's well-being, describing DJ Koo as sensitive and emotional.
He feared the DJ Koo might struggle to get through such a painful time.
“All I can do now is pray. Stay strong, DJ Koo! Rest in peace, Barbie Hsu,” Lee added.
As of now, DJ Koo has yet to make any public appearance or release an official statement regarding his wife’s passing.
