Dee Hsu Pauses Career After Barbie Hsu's Passing

Dee Hsu, famously known as Xiao S, has decided to step away from her hosting duties on Dee Girls Talk following the passing of her older sister, Barbie Hsu.

The production team announced that Dee will take a six-month break to focus on personal matters.

In the meantime, the popular talk show will continue airing, with Sandy Wu, daughter of Jacky Wu, stepping in as a temporary host.

This decision was made to ensure the show maintains its connection with audiences and continues spreading joy.

Dee Girls Talk first aired in 2022 and quickly became a fan favourite under director Chen Yan-ming.

The announcement sparked an outpouring of support for Dee and her family during this difficult time.

Addressing the media, Dee Hau expressed gratitude for the public's love for her sister, Barbie Hsu.

She stated there would be no farewell ceremony, as Barbie always valued privacy.

"If you miss her, just keep it in your heart," Dee said.

"She’s happy and carefree now."

Sandy Wu is set to bring her unique charm to the show, ensuring it remains as vibrant as ever while Dee takes time to heal.
