Darren Wang Caught in Military Service Scandal

Fans been wondering what happened to Darren Wang? Is he arrested?

Taiwanese actor Darren Wang has landed himself in hot water!

The 33-year-old star of Our Times was arrested in Taipei for allegedly dodging his mandatory military service.

Authorities say he was caught up in a larger investigation involving draft evasion and document forgery.

Reports claim police carried out an early morning raid, leading to Wang’s arrest.

The actor, who has spent most of his career in China starring in shows like The Wolf and No More Bets, is now under investigation.

Officials are looking into whether he used illegal means to skip out on his service.

Taiwanese law requires all men between 19 and 36 to complete military duties, and Wang isn’t the first celeb to get caught in the mix.

In the past, actors like Ethan Ruan and Joe Cheng were also under scrutiny for delaying enlistment.

However, Darren Wang is already seeing a way out.

Latest reports say he’s been released on bail for NT$150,000 and is now set to serve in March. Looks like he won’t be avoiding the barracks for long!
