C-pop boy group Loong9 has landed in hot water after being accused of cutting in line while boarding a flight from Shenzhen to Beijing.
A passenger took to social media, claiming the group skipped the queue on 22 February.
Boarding was meant to start at 8:50 PM, but it was suddenly paused.
Moments later, Loong9 and their staff were allowed to board first, sparking chaos as fans surged forward.
Passengers, some in business class, were left frustrated, questioning why the group—who allegedly had economy-class tickets—got priority.
Many felt disrespected, especially as airport staff provided no clear explanation.

Following the backlash, netizens slammed the group, with some suggesting celebrities should book private flights if they refuse to follow public rules.
On 24 February, Loong9 addressed the issue on Weibo, explaining they had coordinated with authorities due to a large fan gathering at the airport.
They claimed they boarded at a pre-arranged time to avoid overcrowding.
The group apologised for the inconvenience and urged fans to travel responsibly, vowing to better regulate future arrangements.
However, many remain unconvinced, accusing them of using their fame for special treatment.
