Barbie Hsu, the legendary actress, tragically passed away due to pneumonia.
The family initially stored her ashes at home, causing a stir among her apartment neighbours.
Dee Hsu, Barbie Hsu's sister, cleared the air through her manager, explaining that the ashes were only kept temporarily.
The family is now applying for a tree burial, which aligns with Barbie's wish to "return to nature."
Dee shared, "Barbie always talked about life and death openly. She wanted her ashes cremated and buried in an eco-friendly way. We're working on the approval now, and once we have it, we'll honour her desire to reunite with nature."
For now, her ashes rest in a warm and loving home.
