ASOBISYSTEM just dropped their brand-new idol group, ‘fav me’ (ファボミー), and let’s be real—the lineup looks kinda familiar.
Seven members, each with their own signature colour, but guess what?
Most of them have already been in other idol groups before. Déjà vu, much?
Meet the crew: Onodera Azusa (light blue), Abe Karen (purple), Kawagishi Runa (orange), Seno Marin (lemon yellow), Maruyama Rana (mint green), Miokawa Maika (red), and Nakamoto Komari (pink).
They’re set to make their big debut on April 22, 2025, under ASOBISYSTEM’s new PEAK SPOT project.
Their formation was first teased on February 4, and by Valentine’s Day, we got the official group name and lineup.
But here’s where it gets spicy—these girls aren’t exactly rookies.
Azusa used to be in Masshiro na Canvas, Karen and Runa were in KAWAII LAB.
MATES, Marin came from Spslash, Rana was a PopTeen model, Maika had stints in miao and Ruruneige, and Komari repped Mooove!.
Basically, this ain’t their first rodeo.
So, what’s the deal?
Are we getting a next-gen idol sensation, or just a mash-up of old names under a new banner?
Either way, ‘fav me’ is coming, and the hype is real.
