Hello! Project fans have a unique new attraction in Mishima, as a commemorative manhole cover celebrating BEYOOOOONDS has been installed.
The "MANHOOOOOLE" cover was created following 9,000 plays of the song Voooooice!, a special collaboration track available exclusively on the Tokaido Shinkansen.
This installation also marks the 90th Anniversary of Mishima Station, making it a dual celebration of the station's history and BEYOOOOONDS' popularity.
Viewing decorative manhole covers is a beloved pastime in Japan, with many towns offering dedicated trails showcasing their designs.
However, this BEYOOOOONDS-themed manhole cover is the first of its kind, making it a must-see for fans.
Fans from across the country are already visiting Mishima to take photos of the cover and explore the station's anniversary events.
The project exemplifies the growing trend of merging art, music, and local history into accessible public displays.
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Mishima while connecting with Hello! Project’s vibrant music legacy.
This collaboration further cements BEYOOOOONDS' role in promoting culture through innovation.
