Marina Asakawa has revealed her plans to graduate from the idol group "♡'s (Kyuuuns)" and step away from the entertainment industry by the end of November.
The 23-year-old gravure model, who only joined the group less than a month ago, shared that her decision stems from a deep personal experience of betrayal by an somebody she trusted the most.
Asakawa opened up about the challenges she’s faced over the last four years, explaining that she hasn’t encountered any old people within the entertainment industry who have convinced her it’s a “wonderful world.”
While she didn’t go into further details due to the risk of being sued, her words hint at an industry culture that left her disillusioned and seeking a new path.
In her heartfelt message, Marina thanked her fans for their support during her time in the spotlight.
Although she's stepping down from her idol career, she expressed a desire to maintain a connection with her fans, hinting at the possibility of meeting them in the future, but this time as an ordinary person, no longer in the public eye.
The news of her departure has shocked both her fans and the wider entertainment community, leaving many to wonder what truly happened behind the scenes.
Despite her early exit from the group and the industry, Asakawa remains appreciative of those who have supported her along the way.
