The Traitors New Blood: Where Is Kriste Lewis Now After Her Reality TV Appearance?

Kriste Lewis has moved well beyond her brief but memorable run on NBC’s The Traitors: New Blood. After becoming one of the Faithful contestants willing to put her suspicions on the table, Lewis has since built a very different career in real estate, while continuing to speak publicly about her experiences and the health journey that has shaped much of her life.

Lewis was never exactly the type to sit quietly around the Round Table and hope everyone else figured things out. As a Faithful, she quickly understood that survival depended on paying attention to tiny details, comparing what people said and, ideally, not accusing the wrong person in front of everyone. That final part, unfortunately, proved rather important.

She had actually wanted to enter the game as a Traitor because she believed the role would give her more control over the game. Once she was assigned to the Faithful side, though, Lewis decided she could still make the most of it by playing defensively and keeping an eye out for inconsistencies. During one of the physical challenges, she also helped her team add another $50,000 to the prize pot, giving her more than one reason to feel useful.

Her biggest moment came when she was speaking with Madeline Kostopulos and Victor Vollbrechthausen. During the conversation, Lewis heard Madeline mention that she had identified Kim Daily, who had already been eliminated. Lewis interpreted what she heard as a major clue and quickly shared it with the rest of the cast. At the Round Table, she put the accusation forward, and the group ultimately voted Madeline out.

There was just one rather awkward problem: Madeline was a Faithful too. Lewis discovered the mistake after the vote and became visibly emotional. She still stood by what she had heard, explaining that she had acted on information she genuinely believed was important rather than deliberately misleading the others. Reality TV strategy rarely comes with a receipt, and unfortunately for Lewis, this particular receipt was pointing in the wrong direction.

Before appearing on The Traitors: New Blood, Lewis had already built an unusual career path. She spent years working as a dance instructor before taking on an entirely different challenge in her 40s. In 2014, after a friend jokingly suggested she audition for the New Orleans Saintsations, Lewis decided to actually give it a shot.

What followed was considerably more serious than the original joke. Lewis survived three rounds of auditions and ultimately became one of 36 women selected for the 2014–15 squad. She was assigned to the appearance team, which focused on community outreach. Her age made the achievement particularly notable, as she had been the oldest person to audition at the time, although the judges did not know how old she was until the interview stage.

Lewis has spoken about feeling nervous while auditioning alongside much younger women, but she also embraced the fact that she was doing something she genuinely wanted to do. Her message was straightforward: getting older should not automatically mean putting your ambitions in storage and calling it a day.

These days, Lewis has taken another turn professionally. She works full-time as a Realtor with RE/MAX Real Estate Partners, trading dance floors and reality-show Round Tables for property listings and negotiations. According to the information provided, she closed 30 sales across five years, with the properties ranging from $119,000 to $367,000. She has also had three-bedroom properties listed in Hattiesburg and Sumrall, Mississippi.

Away from property and reality television, Lewis has also been open about living with polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and has used her platform to raise awareness around the condition. Her connection to the issue is particularly personal because her mother also lives with PKD and has been living for more than two decades following a kidney transplant.

Her mother remains an important source of inspiration for Lewis, who has continued to talk about the strength she has seen in her family. Her husband, Rob Lewis, has also remained an important part of her life, with the couple raising two sons who are now adults. Lewis has proudly described herself as a “boy mom”, although having grown-up sons presumably means the job description now includes worrying about them from a slightly greater distance.

At 50, which Lewis celebrated in 2024, her life looks remarkably different from the one viewers saw on The Traitors: New Blood. She has gone from teaching dance and auditioning for an NFL cheerleading squad to working in real estate, appearing on reality television and using her own experiences to encourage greater awareness around PKD. If nothing else, her career history proves that the path does not have to make sense on paper to make sense in real life.

My take is that Lewis is one of those reality-TV contestants whose story becomes more interesting once the cameras stop following her. Her time on The Traitors: New Blood was certainly messy, particularly because her biggest piece of evidence ended with another Faithful being sent home, but that mistake arguably made her more memorable than a perfectly calculated game would have.

She was willing to speak up, trust her instincts and accept the consequences when those instincts failed her. Since then, the shift into real estate feels surprisingly fitting because it still involves reading people, paying attention to details and trying to work out what someone is really thinking.

The Saintsations chapter is arguably even more remarkable, considering it started as a birthday joke and turned into something she actually achieved. Add her advocacy work and family story, and there is considerably more to Lewis than her reality-TV appearance. She clearly did not treat 40, 50 or a career change as deadlines for slowing down.

For viewers wondering where Kriste Lewis is now, the short answer is that she is still in Mississippi, working in real estate and building a life far removed from the castle and its increasingly suspicious Round Tables.

Her journey has taken some genuinely unexpected turns, and the woman who once tried to identify Traitors is now busy navigating property deals instead.
