The ‘Legend of the Female General’ actress made her second Cannes red carpet appearance as a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, wearing a soft grey-purple haute couture dress from Vietnamese designer brand Phan Huy’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

One viral comment bluntly read, “Maybe try a different makeup artist for once. The makeup looks dull on the red carpet and makes her eyes look swollen.” Another user directly told the actress’s styling team to “stay away” from the current makeup direction altogether, claiming Zhou Ye’s natural visuals were “doing all the work already”.
