The SNH48 GROUP returned to Shanghai on 14 March for the SNH48 12th Request Time Best 30, the franchise’s annual fan-voted concert where supporters decide which songs deserve the spotlight. Held at the Shanghai Jing’an Sports Center Gymnasium, the event gathered performers from five sister groups across China, transforming the White Day celebration into a night of fan-driven music, nostalgia and competitive rankings.
Members from SNH48 (Shanghai), GNZ48 (Guangzhou), BEJ48 (Beijing), CKG48 (Chongqing) and CGT48 (Chengdu) took turns on stage, performing the thirty tracks that topped this year’s vote. For fans of the long-running idol franchise, Request Time is more than a concert. It acts as a yearly scoreboard showing which songs, pairings and stages resonate most strongly with the audience.
This year’s edition introduced a dual-channel scoring system, combining song selection with member selection.
The change meant fans could vote not only for their favourite tracks but also for which idols they wanted to perform them, giving the event a more interactive structure. The result was a concert that mixed original singles with familiar Mandarin hits, all shaped directly by the fanbase.
The night’s most anticipated moment arrived with the Annual Golden Melody announcement, where “Summer Memories”, performed by Bai Xinyu and Zhu Yixin, defended its top position.
The performance leaned heavily on nostalgia, with emotional vocals and a stage arrangement designed to recall earlier SNH48 eras — a formula that clearly worked with voters.
Below is the fan-voted Top 30 ranking from the SNH48 Request Time 2026 concert, with highlights from each section of the list.

Others argued newer songs deserved higher placements, especially tracks like “SWAN” and “Axis Kiss”, which many viewers felt delivered standout performances on the night.
Still, the broader sentiment remained positive. Many fans described the concert as one of the strongest Request Time editions in recent years, particularly due to the new voting system and the involvement of multiple sister groups.
As the SNH48 GROUP continues to evolve, events like Request Time remain a central tradition — part concert, part fan festival, and part popularity contest. With new songs entering the library and younger members stepping into the spotlight, the rankings will almost certainly shift again next year.
What do you think of this year’s results? Did “Summer Memories” deserve to stay at the top, or were there other performances that should have claimed the crown?
