Japanese theatre favourites Shuto Miyazaki (35) and Saori Seto (36) have officially announced their marriage, sharing the happy news on 15 December via their respective Instagram accounts.
The couple posted a joint signed statement alongside a warm wedding photo, thanking fans, colleagues, friends, and family for the steady support that made the announcement possible.
The message struck a calm, sincere tone, reflecting the pair’s shared values both on and off stage.
In their statement, Shuto Miyazaki and Saori Seto shared their intention to support one another as life partners, build a loving home together, and continue growing as performers.
They also promised to keep challenging themselves creatively, with the hope of delivering even better work in the future.
Both actors are signed under Watanabe Entertainment and are best known for their work in theatre, where they’ve built solid reputations for consistent performances and dedication to their craft.

Saori Seto is also known as the younger sister of actor Koji Seto, adding a touching industry connection to the announcement.
Interestingly, Shuto Miyazaki previously co-starred with Koji Seto back in 2015 in the stage production Yuhi Den, where the two played brothers. A decade later, that on-stage relationship has turned into a real-life family tie.
Reacting to the news, Koji Seto took to Twitter to congratulate the newlyweds with a light-hearted message, joking that he never expected Shuto Miyazaki to actually become his younger brother one day.
Shuto Miyazaki replied in kind, calling Koji his “real big brother,” making the exchange a sweet moment fans quickly picked up on.
