Japanese actress and fashion model Seika Furuhata has officially announced her divorce.On 15 December, the 29-year-old shared a statement via her Instagram Stories, confirming that she and her non-celebrity husband have decided to go their separate ways.
The announcement comes nearly two years after she revealed her marriage in February 2023.
In her written message, Furuhata Seika explained that the decision was made after ongoing discussions and reflection during their married life.
She shared that differences gradually emerged, and both sides ultimately agreed that moving forward individually would be the healthiest choice.
She also expressed her apologies to fans who had supported and celebrated her marriage, noting that making such an announcement was not easy.

However, she stressed that the decision was reached after careful consideration and mutual understanding.
Seika Furuhata concluded her message by thanking supporters for their continued encouragement and asked for their understanding as she enters a new chapter of her life.
Seika Furuhata was born on 8 July 1996 in Tokyo.
She rose to fame after winning the 13th Nicola Model Audition in 2009, before becoming an exclusive model for major fashion magazines including nicola, Seventeen, ViVi, and currently Oggi.
Her acting career began in 2012 with TBS drama Papadol!, followed by notable appearances in NHK’s Half, Blue. (2018), Fuji TV’s Kyojo II (2021), and the Netflix–MBS series Yamikin Ushijima-kun Gaiden: Yamikin Saihara-san (2022).
