The countdown to TMElive International Music Awards 2026 has officially begun, and Tencent Music Entertainment Group has gone all out with a line-up that looks more like someone's dream festival playlist than a single weekend event. Set to take over Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on 22 and 23 August 2026, the two-day celebration promises back-to-back performances from some of the biggest names in K-pop and international music. If your streaming playlist has been struggling to choose between generations of idols and global chart-toppers, this festival has decided to remove that problem entirely.

Running daily from 5.00pm to 10.30pm local time, TIMA 2026 is shaping up as one of the region's biggest live music events of the year. The organisers have packed the schedule with established superstars, rising acts and international artists, ensuring there will barely be enough time for fans to catch their breath between performances.

It is the sort of programme that politely suggests bringing comfortable shoes because standing still simply will not be an option. The opening day on Saturday, 22 August, begins with performances from 82MAJOR, C-IJU, Daniel Seavey, KiiiKiii, NexT1DE and NOWZ, giving newer artists a major stage to introduce themselves to a huge audience.

The energy then ramps up with appearances from ALLDAY PROJECT, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Hearts2Hearts, Taeyong and Yeonjun, before the evening reaches full stadium mode. Closing out the first night are some of the industry's biggest names.

aespa, BABYMONSTER, RIIZE, Super Junior and Tomorrow X Together are all scheduled to perform, while Chang Tso-bin will take on hosting duties. It is a line-up that comfortably spans multiple generations of K-pop, meaning long-time fans and newer listeners can finally stop arguing about which era was better and simply enjoy both at once.

The momentum continues on Sunday, 23 August, with another packed programme. Early performances come from KickFlip, MODYSSEY, NEXZ and UNCHILD, before the festival welcomes AND2BLE, EVAN, MEOVV, NMIXX, NuNew, PLAVE and WayV

The organisers have clearly aimed for variety, mixing established favourites with artists who have quickly built strong international followings. The grand finale promises one of the strongest closing acts of any music festival this year.

Global pop star Charlie Puth joins William Chan, IVE, NCT WISH, Stray Kids and Taeyeon to bring the curtain down on TMElive International Music Awards 2026. It is the kind of closing line-up designed to leave fans wondering whether losing their voice after two days of cheering should simply be accepted as part of the ticket price.

Those hoping to secure a place inside Kai Tak Stadium will not have to wait much longer. Priority ticket sales are scheduled to begin on 13 July 2026, giving eligible fans an early opportunity to book seats before general sales officially open on 15 July 2026

Considering the scale of the artist roster, few would be surprised if demand moves considerably faster than anyone's internet connection during checkout.

The announcement has already generated plenty of discussion across fan communities and social media. Many fans have celebrated the impressive mix of legendary performers and newer acts, describing the line-up as one of the most balanced festival rosters announced this year.

Others are already planning travel itineraries, comparing schedules and joking that their wallets may need emotional support after tickets, flights and merchandise all join forces. Meanwhile, several fans have expressed excitement over seeing artists from different labels and generations sharing the same event, creating combinations that rarely happen on one stage.

With two packed evenings, a stadium full of major names and one of the strongest international line-ups announced this year, TMElive International Music Awards 2026 is already shaping up to be a highlight of the global music calendar. Whether you are there for Stray Kids, aespa, Charlie Puth, Tomorrow X Together, Taeyeon or another favourite, there is unlikely to be a quiet moment once the lights go down. Which performance are you most looking forward to, and who do you think will steal the entire weekend?
