| Hilarious Family Spin-Off Fen Fang Xi Shi Brings Back Ren Hao and Jackie Li |
The long wait is over — Fen Fang Xi Shi (芬芳喜事, Fragrant Joy), the highly anticipated spin-off of hit comedy-romance drama Hilarious Family, finally has a release date.
Tencent Video confirmed on Weibo this morning that the drama will premiere September 22nd, 2025, dropping new episodes daily at 12:00 noon (Beijing Time).

Storyline

The series follows Ai Si Xi, an innkeeper who firmly believes in staying single.
Her peaceful life takes a turn when she becomes the subject of a bizarre lawsuit branding her a “single exemplar.”
To save her reputation, Jing Kan steps in and marries her, intending it to be temporary.
However, their marriage draws them deep into the internal politics of the Jing family — a wealthy tea-producing clan.
